As a practicum student on the path to licensure in professional counseling, I anticipate completing my journey at Liberty University by the end of 2024, building upon my foundation with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2022.

My professional trajectory began in the fitness industry, where I witnessed the profound psychological benefits of intentional self-investment. Transitioning to a mental health treatment center for adolescents deepened my understanding of the intricacies of mental well-being. This combination of experiences fuels my commitment to delivering counseling that embraces your identity, the burdens you carry, and the aspirations you have.

Grounded in a Gestalt, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach, my counseling ethos centers on empathy and authenticity, cultivating an environment free of judgment. I place paramount importance on safety, trust, and empowerment, recognizing the potential impact of trauma on each client's unique healing journey. This integrative approach ensures a holistic, client-centered therapeutic experience toward personal growth and healing.

Outside the counseling room, I find comfort in the company of my family and dog, engage in Yoga/Pilates, and embark on a quest for the perfect cup of coffee in the Houston area. Eager to collaborate with individuals on their healing journeys, I am honored to contribute to your path of self-discovery and well-being.

I am supervised by Kim Huff-Howard License # 76534. She may be reached at  Kim@Counselingcreations.org.
