I am a practicum student in the master’s level Marriage, Couples and Family Counseling program with Lamar University. I am working toward becoming a licensed professional counselor and expect to graduate in May 2024. I earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston – Downtown in 2012 with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I have worked in the field for about 10 years. I am a boy mom and cat lover. I have four sons and a husband who keep me on my toes. Working out, alone time at home, time with friends and family, and self-care are some of my favorite things.

I have in office and telehealth sessions available. I work Friday evenings and Saturday mornings in person at the Tomball office and both daytime and evening appointments available via telehealth.

Throughout my life, different experiences have led me to want to help others. Above all, being the daughter of a beloved father who struggled with addiction and later dealing with the intense grief from his passing have been the major driving forces of my motivation. My goal is to strive towards being my best self and helping others do the same. I have an integrative approach to counseling and hope to grow with you at Counseling Creations. I’ll offer a safe space for you to work toward your goals, while guiding and empowering you.

I am supervised by Kim Huff-Howard License # 76534. She may be reached at  Kim@Counselingcreations.org.
