I am currently a practicum student at Lamar University and have an expected graduation date of Dec 2024. I graduated from Texas State with a psychology degree and am now earning my masters in marriage and family counseling. I have worked as a behavioral therapist for the autistic community for almost seven years now. The autism community is one that often times gets overlooked when it comes to family and couple's therapy. I feel with my background that I have gained a great understanding of what anxiety, stress, and depression looks like in a household. I plan to use this experience to help all individuals and families with whatever problems arise, helping them achieve a better way of life!

Seeking counseling and therapy is never easy and may often times seem aversive or negative. I'm here to tell you to take that leap, gain control of your life, and get back that feeling of joy that might be missing every day. I am a big advocate of therapy because life is truly all about the mindset. If you can change the way you perceive a problem and perceive it in a non-threatening, manageable way, then life becomes less scary. Change is just around the corner, and I would love to be a part of that journey!

I have telehealth and in-office hours available in Tomball, TX in primarily the evening time.

I am supervised by Kim Huff-Howard License # 76534. She may be reached at  Kim@Counselingcreations.org.
