I am currently in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Liberty University with anticipated graduation in May 2024. I am the wife of a wounded combat veteran who suffers severe PTSD and anxiety, and I am also the mother of a child who has been struggling with General Anxiety Disorder for years. Going through life with my loved ones and witnessing many of my students fighting different mental health issues while I was teaching piano, homeschooling, and tutoring, I felt I was called into this field for my family and others.

I’ve always had a heart for helping others. Having taught piano for many years and homeschooling, I humbly learned that it was not enough to just have the heart. It is paramount to tailor my way of teaching or helping to meet the specific needs of others. I believe it is the same in the mental health counseling field. Your struggle or hurt is unique, personal, and significant, and it is my privilege to help you feel heard, seen, understood, and cared for. Let me tailor methods or strategies to help you overcome your challenges, and together, we’ll walk through this journey toward growth, healing, and a better life.
