My name is Brenda Becerril, and I am currently a practicum student from the
University of Saint Thomas, working under the supervision of Kimberly Huff-

Howard, LPC (License #76534). She may be reached at
kim@counselingcreations.org. I am in the process of becoming a Licensed
Professional Counselor, continuing a lifelong commitment to supporting others with
care and respect.

I bring 28 years of experience as a bilingual educator, having taught from Pre-K
through 4th grade and served as an elementary school counselor. These experiences
have shaped my passion for guiding children, families, and individuals through life’s
challenges with empathy, patience, and cultural understanding.

I approach counseling with respect, compassion, and nonjudgment, creating a safe
space where clients can explore their challenges and discover their strengths. My goal
is to help each person live life as fully and positively as possible.
